SchoolOS ("we", "our", "the app") is a school management platform operated by Paarsiv. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the SchoolOS web app and mobile apps (iOS & Android).
Each school (the "institution") that uses SchoolOS is the data controller for its students', parents' and staff's information. SchoolOS acts as a data processor, storing and processing that information on the school's behalf.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use student data for advertising.
Information is visible only within your school, according to your role's permissions. We share data with sub-processors strictly to run the service — for example cloud hosting, file storage, and the push-notification delivery service. Payment details, when used, are handled by the payment provider and are not stored by us.
Data is stored on secured servers. Passwords are hashed, access is controlled by role-based permissions, and connections are encrypted (HTTPS). Uploaded files are stored privately.
We retain information for as long as the school's account is active or as needed to provide the service. Schools may request export or deletion of their data.
Student information is provided and managed by the school and the child's parents/ guardians. SchoolOS does not knowingly collect information directly from children.
We may update this policy; material changes will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
